What factors should be considered when purchasing Stenter Machine
Six main factors are recommended to be taken into consideration to ensure that the machine will meet your production requirements and provide ideal product.
1. Machine Size: Stenter machines differ in sizes, ranging from small ones to large ones. Depending on the spaces of production line and necessary fire protection facilitities, the size of stenter machine can be determined. Moreover, the space to put raw materials and end product should aslo be considered beforehand.
2. Machine Capacity: When you have an expected speed or volume of your production line, the stenter capacity should be the crucial parameter. The stenter capacity can be partially explained by the Drying capacity of hot chambers, that is the water evaporation per hour per chamber, which is predetermined when the machine is made.
3. Heating System: Several methods including natural gas, electricity or thermal oil can be used to heat up the chambers. Which one to use largely depends on the cost of energy(gas, oil, electricity), energy efficency and exhaust gas treatment.
4. Machine Configuration: Since different fabrics have different preferred process in terms of stretching, heat setting, and cooling. It is highly recommended that you make an tailored machine configuration to yield ideal end products
